Welcome to the Gentle Giant Rowing Club located on the Mystic River in Somerville, Massachusetts. Our Club is a not-for-profit, registered 501(c)3, organization dedicated to introducing and nurturing the sport of rowing, regardless of age, culture, financial ability or physical capability; and to improving and preserving the environment in and surrounding the rivers we row.

GGRC Co-Founders, Gracio Garcia and Al Gately Gehant, are asking you to pull with them for Gentle Giant Rowing this #GivingTuesday.  The goal is to raise $10,000 towards a new Stillwater 25XL launch scheduled to join the coaching fleet in 2026.  Stillwater launches allow our coaching staff to maneuver safely around rowing hulls while being able to get close to provide quality coaching.  

Al and Gracio together are matching up to $5,000!  Any donation is welcome but we are asking for you to consider making a $50 donation towards this goal via the link below.
